Funny Animal Pictures!

These are some funny things I found on the computer...

This is a dog that looks like a little tiger!

This is a mouse that is using a toothpick!
This looks like a man holding the sun!

This is a horse with a lion on top!

The panda bears are playing on Christmas day. I think it is Christmas because I see snow.

This is Cookie Monster and he is very happy because of cookies.

Snakes on a Patio, Part II

Today there were two baby snakes outside. Daddy found them and killed them with the shovel. At first Daddy thought they were good snakes, but his friend Jeremy and my teacher Miss Tasha told him they were bad snakes, and might hurt me. It is okay to kill snakes sometimes because some snakes are dangerous because they will bite you. Some are nice. Good snakes are all black. That is SnakersonDaddy put one of the dead snakes in a bag so I could bring it to school.

If I am outside and see a snake I run and go tell daddy and mommy, and close the door so snakes don't get in. There is a pretend movie about snakes on a plane... they aren't really on the plane. I want to go on a plane without snakes to Nana and Pop's house, but not today.

Sometimes snakes eat really big things like alligators. But there aren't snakes that big in my back yard. I can fight monsters with my hands and feet. I can freeze them with ice and then break them. Monsters are pretend. I saw a scary thing on a tv and it made me have bad dreams. When I have bad dreams I try to think of something else I like, but sometimes I can't get the bad ones out of my head. Happy things I think about are ice cream, roller coasters, water parks, and Evan. I also sometimes dream about songs and animals and going to the zoo and Hattie the fish and movies and pictures. I like movies that have a little bit of bad and good in them. Like spiderman... how there is good and bad in them. I also hope today that my flowers are growing.

That's all I want to say.

All About Sally Ride and Space

Today I learned about space. Evan learned about space too. Here is some of what I learned...

This is Jupiter. I don't live in Jupiter. It is a planet. It kind of looks like a moon. It is the biggest planet.
This is Earth. I live in Earth. There are stars around Earth. Stars are little dots.

This is an astroid. It is a giant rock. It is a rock that goes around the planets and the sun.  That is called shooting.
This is a space ship. It flies. People ride in it. I want to ride in a spaceship.
This is Mars. Mars is a planet. Mars is red.
This is an astronaut. Sometimes an astronaut floats.
This is Sally Ride. She died today. The news just told me about her. She was the first girl to go out in space.

Planting Seeds

Today Evan and I drew pictures. I drew Hattie the fish and Evan was just drawing a monster or something; with no arms and no hands.

Evan and I planted seeds today. This is how you plant seeds. First you put them in the ground and push them down and cover them up. Then we watered them. Then Evan ate some dirt for dessert. You gotta check in a week and see if they grow into flowers.

Also, someone said "stupid" on TV. That is not a good choice. I don't know who he is, but he is on the blue team and he swims in a pool. Daddy said he is going to be in the Olympics. I don't know what that is.

I am Mad at Barack Obama. And a Rain Forrest.

A note from Liam's daddy: Before anyone calls Liam insensitive for being mad at the President for canceling a political rally on a day of national mourning... please remember he is 3. Liam makes all the editorial choices for image editing and content... he even has started typing (which takes a really long time, but he's getting faster). One of my goals for this blog is for Liam to find his voice, even as a 3 year old, and learn that his perspective is valued. We encourage him to share his feelings openly. So, even after we delicately explained to him the horrific events in Colorado today, he still asked to blog about how angry he was. I tried to steer him away from the topic, but he was insistent. He has been sleeping with his Obama puppet this last week, but tonight, the puppet went back in the toy bin. Liam is learning that life sometimes disappoints and that politicians don't always do what they say, even if it was clearly the right thing to do.
***

I was supposed to go to Orlando to see Barack Obama today, but the man in the orange shirt was bad to some people and so the President didn't come talk to us. I saw this guy who made bad choices on the news. The President had to go make other people who were sad feel better. I was mad and I was sad and I cried, but he didn't come make me feel better. I'm still mad. Shame on you, Barack Obama for not coming to talk to me. I know it is bad to say that, but I am really sad. I hope he comes another time. And I hope the people who were hurt, feel better.

So Gigi, Daddy and I went to a rain forest restaurant (that's what I call it). There were monkeys, snakes, elephants and fish. The animals were moving and making noises that I like, so I knew that they were real. There was pretend rain also.

After the rain forest we went to the Lego store. I saw Buzz and Woody made of lots and lots of Legos! I don't know who built them, but it probably took a long time.

Then I went to a store. I wanted to bring more toys home, but I could not. There were a lot that I didn't have and I needed them. Daddy wouldn't let me bring them home because they cost money. Next time when I go there I will bring my piggy bank. I wanted the noisy dinosaurs, a snake, princess stuff, and a nemo fish. Just those... that's all. I just got one toy... a Mickey Mouse hat for my Mr. Potato Head! I have a hat just like it, but my hat is big and his hat is small.

That's all I want to say.

Barack Obama and Medieval Times!

Long, hot line for tickets to see Barack Obama!
He is the President and I like him because I have a puppet of him.
They wanted me to sit in my daddy's lap,
but I told them I wanted my own ticket!

Then we went to a castle for dinner!

We watched horses and people sword fight.
I cheered for the Blue Knight!

The Blue Knight was only giving flowers to girls,
but I really wanted one, so he threw one to me!

 I don't remember this picture...

My New Umbrella!

Last night the brown umbrella broke. I think the wind blew it down. It was on the ground when we went outside.

So today we went to the store to buy a new umbrella. First we went to Lowes, but we didn't like any of the umbrellas there. So then we went to Sam's. Not my friend Sam Joyner; the store Sam's.

I picked out the red one with stripes because it is so bright. It also looks like the hammock. We also bought a light. It goes on the umbrella pole. It turns on and lights up!

We called Momma on the phone because she is at a meeting far away (just like my birthday... and I wonder what Santa is going to give me on Christmas...). I told Momma we bought an umbrella, but she thinks I meant a tiny umbrella! She will find out when she reads my blog.

Also, today we pretended our school was a circus. I also made an umbrella at school. It is different from the umbrella outside because it is purple and says, "Liam". I also practiced cutting.

Just Gigi

Gigi came to my house today! Gigi is my daddy's mommy. She likes playing wrestling, transformers, letters (like a, b, c), and reads me books! One time, she was reading me the Bible, my favorite book. But then she fell asleep while she was reading it because maybe she was tired. She likes to chase me outside. Gigi looks like a princess. She has brown hair. I was trying to see what color eyes she had and she fell down. She has black eyes. I think she is young. I made her a flower and gave it to her when she got here.

My favorite story is about Jesus saving Lazarus. Before Jesus died, Lazarus died first. But Jesus told Lazarus to come out and he did and he was okay.

Also, I dressed up like the Statue of Liberty. It is in New York. I saw it on the 4th of July on tv. She is holding a torch and a book in the other hand ("If You Give a Mouse a Cookie"). She is wearing a crown on her head. She is made of green stuff. I have white and green on.

Also, my friend Chris Crowder taught me a new high five! It is called a turkey high five. First someone has a hand up and makes turkey feathers with their fingers. Then, the other person makes a turkey head with your thumb. And they press them together and yell, "TURKEY!"

Snake on a Patio!

This morning I went outside to look at my plants, and then I saw a big black SNAKE! The snake said "ssssssss" and I said, "MOMMA, THERE'S A SNAKE!" and she said, "CLOSE THE DOOR!" I ran and woke daddy up and said, "There is a snake outside." Then daddy told me to get a shovel, but I couldn't find a shovel. Then daddy went outside and I stayed inside. I wasn't scared, but I just wanted to look from the inside. Daddy laid down next to the snake to take pictures.

The snake stuck out his tongue. The snake's tail shook and the snake said, "ssssssssssss". Daddy said he was not scared, but he jumped really high when the snake moved. I think the snake was saying, "I want to come in your house! Is that Liam?"

When the snake ran away, it scared a lizard and I got a picture of the scared lizard. The black snake doesn't bite because he is a nice snake and doesn't even have any teeth. (Frogs don't have teeth either.) I named the snake Snakersen because I like that name. I wanted to keep him as an inside pet, but my mom didn't let me. That made me sad. She said snakes are outside pets and he might bother Hattie the fish. I want to visit Snakersen. All day I looked out the window to see if he had come back to play, but he didn't. Maybe tomorrow. We'll see. Oh, Snakersen.

Also, when I was outside with mommy, I saw my frog friend, and I thought he was dead, but he hopped away. I think he was just playing hide and seek. Also, I ate ice cream today. It was the chocolate kind.

Will Someone Please Take Me to Lego Land?!?

This is a giraffe! His name is Peggle because I love that name. He lives by the trees with the Wonder Pets. I made him with some legos. I can't wait to swim in the water Lego Land all day... that's all I want to do. I've seen it on the news, and I can go when I'm a little older.

This is my chalk drawing of a wet rainbow. It looks like the rain is trying to get out of the rainbow, but it can't.

This is a big thing like a monster. I named it "Mr. Bluey". It took me a really, really long time, like 7 minutes, to make it because my little brother Evan was trying to eat the chalk, but don't worry... I saved the chalk!

Today I got my haircut. I got a lollypop. It was yummy and it turned my mouth a color. It did not stay blue forever. My mouth is the right color now. That would have been funny to always have a blue mouth like a Smurf. I think that is all.

Spiders and Obama

Today there was spiders and bugs in my school. We used some paper towels so we could get them. I go to school in the morning. Today, Evan was a toddler because he went into the toddler class for the first time.

My old job was Line Leader and Counter. I led the boys line. Before that I was Sink and Bag Helper. I passed out the paper towels and carried the list in the bag. Now my job is Carpet Patrol. The Carpet Patrol looks for people not sitting like they are supposed to and say, "Please sit criss-cross applesause." If people are talking on the carpet I say, "Be quiet please."
Today I made myself on a big piece of paper that was 15 blocks tall. I laid down on the paper. Then Miss Heather colored the paper like I was on the outside. The next part was I colored the inside.

I played with Claire all day, but then I didn't want to because she was being bad to me. She was pretending to shoot me. And then I was shooting her. Then she was yelling at me. I think I will play with her tomorrow. This all happened when we were going inside and trying to wash our hands.
Also, there is an ad on TV where a woman says, "Shame on you Barack Obama." Barack Obama is a puppet and it is not nice to say shame on anyone. We can only shame on bad guys. Barack Obama is a good guy. I like him. He is not just a puppet. He is also the president.

I think that's enough.
